SIRE; Gino III. Gino III was an AES approved Holsteiner stallion who was imported to the UK as a three year old in 1993. He stood at Redhill Stud, Telford where he began both a showjumping and breeding career in 1994. Gino III proved to have a huge and scopey jump combined with athletic gaits so typical of the Holstein breed. Unfortunately before he could compete any further, he suffered a field injury which prevented him competeing more.
Gino III was a very compact powerful horse with an elegant well set on neck and a beautiful sculpted head. He had a lot of natural presence and balance. He was leased then sold to ??? in Ireland where he stood as a stallion, until he died in 2006.
