MK Ardbeg

MK Ardbeg (stable name Ari) is an 8yr old 15.3hh dark bay gelding. Unknown breeding but Irish Sport Horse type. We have had Ari since a three year old, he was backed by us and he has done very little except hack out with a novice rider.
He hacks out alone and in company and never naps, bucks or spooks. Ari is the type of horse that can be left and not ridden for weeks on end and just tack up and go out with no silliness.
For the past few months we have done more with Ari and he is schooling very well. He has a fantastic relaxed walk with a good overtrack. His trot is well balanced, has good rhythm and cadence. He has an uphill and athletic canter. He will compete British Dressage this spring.
He is very people friendly, loves one to one attention which we cannot really give him and he is a wonderful character.
A video will be uploaded soon. With his temperament, great attitude to work and his wonderful athletic paces, he will be a great little dressage horse.

Quiver

Quiver 2009 dark bay, BWBS filly
To make 16 – 16.2hh she is by Westpoint Quickfire out of a Daywell Pacific Gold x Duke of Durness thoroughbred mare.
Quiver is an elegant and well put together, friendly filly. Her breeding suggests an eventing/show jumping career but with her athletic paces and natural cadence, she has the ability to succeed at pure dressage.
She has a large ground covering movement from an active hind leg with excellent swing and stretch through the shoulder. Combined with a very good temperament, she has a bold outlook and that 'look at me' presence.
Quiver is well handled, good to catch, farrier etc Her pedigree includes Quickstar, Galoubet A, Daywell Pacific Gold and Duke of Durness.
· The details of her sire Westpoint Quickfire can be found at; http://www.westpointstud.co.uk/stallions5.htm
· Her grandsire Quickstar was ridden to many Grand Prix and World Cup qualifier victories by Meredith Michaels Beerbaum.
· Her dam (Tesscot Calypso) is is a rangy tb mare that hunted with her elderly owner before being used as a broodmare. She is half sister to Tesscot Felix (eventing results here) http://www.britisheventing.com/as...vents/Results.aspx?HorseId=43513
· Daywell Pacific Gold, a NZ TB stallion, who retired from eventing just four points off advanced. He also took nine riders to the Pony Club Championships
· Duke of Durness, a TB stallion who from only a small crop of foals had many top level performers including Alater Pedis and Fantastic Mr Fox.
